School Tax Information
Rye City School District taxes are collected during the months of August and November. Property owners can view billing and payment information at any time on-line at: info tax
The District offers a variety of payment options:
- Payments can be made via credit card or eCheck using our on-line system: info tax . To avoid penalty, payment s must be made by last day of collection (August 31st or November 30th). Please note all on-line payments are subject to a one-time convenience fee.
- Payments can be mailed to the Lockbox. Payments MUST be made payable to: Rye City SD, include the billing coupon, and postmarked by the last day of collection to avoid penalty (August 31st or November 30th). Please note do not use this option when making payments directly from your banks on-line bill pay. Mail to: Rye City SD, Lockbox # 117219, PO Box 5270, Binghamton, NY 13902
- Payments can be mailed to the District Administrative Offices. Payments must be made payable to: Rye City SD, include the billing coupon, and postmarked by the last day of collection to avoid penalty (August 31st or November 30th). - Payments may be made in person at the District Administrative Office at the address above. Collection Periods: August: Weekdays 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, November: Weekdays 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The office will be closed on: Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Property owners whose taxes are paid directly by their banks or mortgage companies will not receive a bill.
