The Rye City School District is governed by an elected seven-person Board of Education. Meetings of the Board are held at 7:30 p.m. on scheduled Tuesday evenings in the Rye Middle School Multipurpose Room and are recorded and posted to the RCSD website where they may be viewed on demand.

June 6, 2023 Board of Education Meeting

The Rye City School District Board of Education will meet Tuesday, June 6, 2023 beginning at 6:30 P.M. in the Rye Middle School Multipurpose Room, 3 Parsons Street, Rye, New York 10580. It is anticipated that the Board will immediately adjourn into Executive Session for the review of such items as the employment history of current and prospective employees, negotiations pursuant to the Taylor Law, review of current
litigation and litigation strategy.

Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend the public portion of the Board meeting beginning at 7:30 P.M. and to speak at designated times.

On the agenda are fiscal, special education, personnel and business items that ordinarily come before the Board.

June 7, 2023 Special Board of Education Meeting

The Rye City School District Board of Education will meet Wednesday, June 7, 2023 beginning at 5:00 P.M. in the large conference room at the Central Administration Building, 555 Theodore Fremd Ave., Suite B-101, Rye, New York 10580.

The purpose of the work session meeting is to discuss such items as the Capital projects.

Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting of the Board and to speak at designated times.
