Rye Fund for Education

  • The Rye Fund for Education is a tax-exempt, non-profit educational foundation established in 2014 to enrich the academic, artistic, and athletic learning experiences of the students of the Rye City School District, beyond the support provided by our tax dollars. The Fund seeks to raise money through donations from parents, community members, alumni, corporations, and others to fund grants to help maintain the excellence of the Rye City schools.

Some examples of RFE funded-projects are:

    • Literacy summer seminars for RCSD faculty
    • Books and resources to support the District’s Literacy Initiative
    • Renovation of the Middle School/High School Band Room
    • Renovation of the Deane Flood Fitness Center and Weight Room
    • Landscaping and furnishing the Science Addition Courtyard
