WHERE TO VOTE: There is only one polling place. The Rye Middle School Gymnasium located at 3 Parsons Street. Please follow the parking instructions of security personnel.
WHO MAY VOTE: All Rye City School District residents who are registered voters are eligible to vote. Registered voters must be, by law, 18 years of age, a United States citizen, and a resident of the Rye City School District for at least 30 days preceding May 16. You may register up to the day of the election at the Board of Elections, 25 Quorropas Street, White Plains, NY.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS: If you are eligible to vote by absentee ballot, you may obtain a ballot application below under Printed Resources.
Applications are also available in the District office, 555 Theodore Fremd Ave., Suite B-101, Rye, NY 10580. Please return your completed application to this address in person or by mail to District Clerk Lauren McGowan. An application must be filed before a ballot may be obtained. Applications must be received at least seven days before the vote (by May 9) if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter by the School District, or by the day before the vote (May 15) if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter or his/her designated agent. Ballots must be returned no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 16 to be counted.

Qualified Voters may also register to vote with the local County Board of Elections by completing an online application with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.
A qualified voter must be 18 years old by May 16, 2023, a citizen of the United States and a resident within the Rye City School District for 30 days immediately preceding the vote, and not otherwise prohibited from voting.
