Dear RCSD Community,
Literacy Presentation at BOE Meeting
At Tuesday night’s board meeting, we heard a terrific update on literacy instruction at the elementary level. We learned about the grades K-2 UFLI phonics program and the grades 3-5 Spelling Connections program. We watched some videos of literacy instruction in action and heard from teachers and instructional coaches about the students’ experiences and their reflections on the programs (hint: they are going really well).
