RHS Varsity Football Championship Game Details

The Rye High School varsity football team is playing in the NYSPHSAA Class A Football Championship on Friday, December 5, at 6:00 pm vs. Brighton Bruins at the JMA Dome (formerly known as the Carrier Dome) at Syracuse University

Send-off from Rye High School is 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4

Admission & Ticket Sales

Tickets are $16.00 (inclusive of fees) and advance purchase is highly encouraged. Ticket windows will be open on site for credit card sales only; no cash will be accepted on site. For tickets, please visit the NYSPHSAA Football Championship Ticket page linked here. 

Tickets are general admission. There are no discounts for senior citizens or students. Children age 5 and under are free. Only NYSPHSAA passes will be honored at the championship site. Spectator Guidelines

Gates A, B, & C at the JMA Wireless Dome will be open for fan entry. Spectators will not be admitted to the building with noise-making devices, food or beverages, balloons, confetti, or aerosol cans (ie, hair spray, paint, etc.). Sales of any kind are prohibited.

Doors to the JMA Wireless Dome will be open one hour before the first game of the day for fans to enter with a purchased ticket.

Disabled spectators should enter the JMA Wireless Dome via Gate A or C. Anyone needing special parking should contact the Box Office in advance at 888-366-3849 or 315-443-2121, to arrange for it. Wheelchair platforms are located on both sides of the field at aisles 101, 102, 103, 113, 114, 115, 117, 118, 128, 129, 130.

Spectators should be advised that noise-making devices, backpacks, food and beverages, balloons, and confetti are prohibited. Schools are not permitted to sell merchandise or other items. 

Spectator Parking & Transportation

Spectator parking will be available in the Stadium West lots. These lots are located between the JMA Wireless Dome and Route 81. There will be a $20.00 charge per car to park. All parking is digital. For parking, please visit the JMA Wireless Dome Parking Pass page here.

Due to the ongoing I-81 construction project, Syracuse is working with Waze to provide real-time directions to Dome parking lots.

Signs & Banners

Patrons are allowed to hang banners and signs on the lower level only. They can be hung below the private boxes or on the handrail next to the field. They must not interfere with patron safety or building mechanical systems, nor can they interfere with NYSPHSAA Championship or Sponsor signage, or they will be removed immediately. Signs for each team should be hung on the side where their team is sitting. The signs must be in good taste, as determined by NYSPHSAA and JMA Wireless Dome management. No signs with initials are permitted, nor are banners on sticks or poles.

Concession Stands

Concession stands will be open during all games for the convenience of the spectators. All concession stands are cashless and will accept most major credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments.

No Alcoholic Beverages

Alcoholic beverages will not be permitted or sold.
