We hope you are well during this challenging time. By now, all families should have received their children's classroom cohort letter. The COVID-19 pandemic has made the partnership between the school and home more necessary than ever, especially as we all face challenges and try to create the safest environments for children. We understand that current circumstances have created difficult times and some cohort assignments may pose a challenge for some families. If your family is struggling with your child’s AM or PM assigned cohort time, we request that you complete the Google Form included at the bottom of this letter by Friday, August 21st. This questionnaire does not guarantee a change in assignment as many variables were used to determine cohort placement, but it will provide us with a clearer understanding of whether or not a change is possible. If you are requesting a change to your child's AM or PM classroom cohort placement by school administration, you must answer each of the questions included in this Google Form.
Please understand that in the event a change is made to your child’s AM or PM cohort placement, this may impact the initial teacher assignment created by the placement team at the conclusion of the 2019 - 2020 school year. Any determinations made about your child’s AM or PM classroom cohort assignment will be final.
