Community Organizations Offering Child Care/Remote Learning Supports

Dear RCSD Community,
There are many challenges COVID-19 has created for schools, students, and families, including child care needs during remote learning. Many local organizations and partners have broadened their program offerings to support the unique needs created for families. Below are a variety of options for families to explore. This list is not comprehensive of all available programs in the community.
Social Learning Club
Flex Academies, a partner of the RCSD elementary school PTOs supporting after school clubs, has created a Social Learning Club program to support families during remote learning.

Rec Recess & Lunch
Rye Recreation and the Rye YMCA staff are offering outdoor play and lunch at Rye Recreation Park.
Bus Transportation (Osborn & Milton) offered.

Learning League Lounge at Rye Recreation
The Rye Free Reading Room and Rye Recreation are offering free remote learning classroom support for students in Grades 2 - 12 during their assigned learn-from-home times.
